Tampa Bay Coral is an agitated fossil coral only found in the waters of Tampa Bay and is Florida's official state stone. They were found in the ancient ocean beads and originated 20-30 millions years ago during the Oligocene-Miocene period. To date all locations for Tampa Bay Coral collection are now closed, making these amazing stones even more precious and sought after.
The fossils in our collection were found in the Tampa Bay area, near Ballast Point. These excellent, prehistoric fossils are sought after by collectors world wide.
