Hi, I’m Sara, owner of MISRED.

I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida—back when it was still a pretty sleepy little city on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

In 1991, my mom opened a consignment shop in what was then a struggling downtown. I grew up watching her build a small business while helping shape the community around it. She taught me early on that a little shop can have a much bigger impact than its four walls.

Twenty years later, I opened MISRED Outfitters just a few blocks from where my mom built hers.

That was 2010. Our block was an eclectic little arts district, St. Pete was beginning to change, and MISRED grew right along with it. There have been lots of iterations along the way, but eventually I realized that bigger didn't necessarily mean better.

Today, MISRED is back to what I love most: one really great neighborhood shop.

Our style is a little classic, a little bohemian, feminine, eclectic and always evolving. Everything in the store is chosen because it feels special without feeling precious—and because getting dressed should be fun, personal and maybe even a little unexpected.

After all these years, my favorite part of owning MISRED is still the people who walk through our doors.
